went to the beach yesterday with ja and kang... and coincidentally, some of ja's HM peeps were going to the beach as well.. so we all went together on the 102 bus. hahaa!! we had already planned to go on the day b4 but the weather didn't look so good.. so yeah... and yesterday, the weather was sunny.. well at least it was till we got to the beach.

we got down to cottlesloe and to our horror!!!! it was cloudy and cold cos the wind was relatively strong. anyways we decided to play like beach volleyball.. but cos the wind was too strong, it kept blowing the ball off direction. then we decided to play like captain's ball but ultimate frisbee rule.. running on the sand is tough work man. and i mean TOUGH... wah lau... by the end of 10 mins we were all panting like nobody's business lah.. i mean for me.. a person who hasn't exercised for like dunno how long, it's understandable. but even the HM pple were also tired. imagine if u trained on sand.. fwah u'd be super zhai after a while loh. sharon (one of the HM pple) suggested soccer but no one wanted to take her up on that. understandably so...

anyways it was pretty weird for a while.. cos altho i know like susan, issac, mj and kevin (since he's may's fren... may's my ex next door neighbour.. she's still my neighbour but she's now moved to the front unit) i don't know them well.. and plus a couple of others.. i don't know at all... (oh yeah.. nari u know sharon right?? ahahhaah) so it took me a bit to warm up to them. i guess kang also felt a bit weird lah.. but once we got over the initial awkward shyness.. we were quite alright.. and it was indeed a fun and relaxing day..

as usual.. the broadway pple were doing what they do best.. making a fool of themselves.. taking spastic pictures.. having fun rolling ard in the sand.. had a blast doing that man! hahaha! took loads of weird pics... and stuff like that. the sun came out for a bit towards the end of the day and we all tried to soak up whatever sunrays there was left (altho it's actually the uv rays that gets u tanned) but well.. it got too cold after a while.. the rest left first.. while kang, ja and i stayed behind to take more stoopid pics.. ahahah i think we have enough for our own 'xie zhen ji' (pictorials) hahahahh!!! but that was hell fun so who cares if we looked as if we were being damm narsissistic. ( is that how u spell it??) had gelato's after that. the passionfruit sobert is super nice lah.. the lemon one gets a bit sian after a while.. and the orange one reminds me of like those 'icee' fruit ice thingy... the ferrera roche one taste good.. and the tiramisu.. whoohoo.. nice!

guess that was an wonderful cold end to our cold and windy day at the beach. we definitely have to go to the beach soon.. and make sure we get our fair share of the sun.. and can finally stop looking like 'bai zhan ji'!!! to the rest of the hols... it's back to work!! argh!!! *pulls hair*
